About the walk
Following the route of St Cuthbert’s Way, this walk starts with a pleasant riverside section along the Tweed with views across to Dryburgh Abbey. It then goes through the villages of St Boswells, Newtown and Bowden. The route finally crosses over into Melrose by the saddle of the Eildon Hills.
