Finish: Lilliesleaf pub,13.30. Bus pick-up at 15.00.
Grade: moderate. Packed lunch if not taking pub lunch. Walk limited to 40 people.

About the walk
The walk goes up hill and down dale through field and forest past lochs and hilltop forts. There are some magical views over the Borders, a good Sunday morning ramble finishing in a friendly old village pub. Transport back to Melrose by mid afternoon. Lunch prices start at about 1.50 for soup, right through to a 3-course Sunday roast for 9.00. Your orders will be taken on route and phoned ahead ready for your arrival.
