Start: Bus from Market Place Melrose at 10.30. Walk starts Broadmeadows, 11.00.
Finish: Philiphaugh Farm, 15.00 approx. Bus pick-up at 15.15
Grade: moderate/strenuous. Packed lunch required.

About the walk
From Broadmeadows Youth Hostel this walk climbs steadily to the Three Brethren Cairns on the Southern Upland Way at a height of 464 metres before descending through Philiphaugh Estate. The route provides excellent views and there is a chance to see some upland wildlife.
