WHEN IT COMES to special relationships, there can be few closer than the one between a woman and her beautician. Trust, expertise and confidentiality are all essential qualities and this is what Sally-Jayne Murray offers at Chantefleur, her health and beauty salon in Melrose.

Chantefleur has a suite of rooms offering a Tansun sun shower, a Finnholme sauna and a fully equipped treatment room. Sally-Jayne trained at the Borders College, graduating as their top beauty therapist as well as Student of the Year in 2000.

As a fully qualified nurse and member of the British Associationof Skin Camouflage, Sally-Jayne can give advice to those suffering from scars and other skin conditions. Treatments are always carried out personally by Sally-Jayne. "I find that my clients can relax here because they know that I will always be the person they see. We can work together to get them looking and feeling their best."

So, whether it’s helping a teenage girl with make-up tuition, a cancer sufferer regain her confidence, preparing a bride for her wedding, or giving a new mother a reviving massage, Sally-Jayne has a vast range of treatments and therapies to offer.

The salon is immaculate, quiet and calm. The treatments include a range of facials, massage, manicures and pedicures, waxing, exfoliation, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, and Ionithermie body firming.
