Melrose Waverley Tennis Club (Scottish Charity No SCO 34153)
is situated in the Gibson Park in the centre of Melrose and has three all weather courts (including flood lights) which are open for play all year. (When courts are locked, the key is available from the adjacent Caravan Club Office.) An Honesty Box is provided for non-members.
Regular club sessions are held on Thursday evenings (6 pm onwards) and Sunday afternoons (2-5 pm) during the April - September season. An informal American tournament is held on the last Sunday of each of the summer months. The Club provides coaching sessions for both juniors and adults and enters teams in all the Borders Leagues
New members are always welcome and the Club is particularly keen to encourage and develop junior players.
The club has a lively social programme, with many annual events such as Cheese & Wine Evening, Ceilidh and Quiz nights. Check out the events diary for more information.
