Borders Book Festival – Where Words Come Alive!

Thursday 23rd – Sunday 26th June

What could be better – or more fitting – than a book festival in the Borders based in Melrose? This year’s Borders Book Festival stellar line-up includes Michael Palin, Claire Macdonald, Germaine Greer, Roy Hattersley, Barry Cunliffe, James Naughtie, Sheila Hancock and more. Four days packed with the best that literature has to offer, something not seen in Melrose since the days of Sir Walter Scott.

The Borders Book Festival promises to be thought provoking, entertaining and inspiring, with major author events, children’s events, a literary supper at Abbotsford House, and even a Festival Fringe.

Whatever your interest, come fire your imagination and let our best sellers take the printed book and make words come alive!
